The Story of Speakeasy Speech Pathology
After graduating with a Master of Speech Pathology in the land Down Under, we have worked as Speech Pathology Australia registered speech pathologists (SLP’s to those from the USA!) in private practice, school, community and telehealth settings for over 4 years. We specialise in working with children and adolescents with intellectual and communication disabilities (ASD, ADHD, and GDD) and speech concerns (speech sound disorders and stuttering). We have accreditations with the Hanen and DIRFloortime programs for early language intervention and the Lidcombe Program to help kids with stuttering difficulties.
Grammar, literacy and reading comprehension are the bedrock we focus on. Boom Cards and blogging fuse a passion for all things speech pathology with a long-dormant artistic and creative streak that runs in the family. Combining both allows the creation of beautiful, practical resources that flow seamlessly into your classroom, clinic or home environment for everyday use with clients of all ages!
Our aim is simple, to produce elegant speech pathology resources that are simple to use, fun to play with, and functional in what they teach.
We aim to service customers from all corners of the world, from the busy speech therapy clinic to the bustling classroom floor. Most of all, we want to expand the range of learning opportunities available to our young ones as they explore the fascinating ins and outs of the English language.
